Stay In Palma for more of a central city - Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume was a gem in the city.

If you are looking for more of a beach stay, that is truly european, I would recommend Deia or Soller.

If nothing else you must visit those two locations. Have lunch at Ca’s Patro March after a day on the rocky beach in Deia. Then have dinner, drinks and live music at the Belmond Hotel.

Wander through Soller and Valldemesso for another world experience. Get a gelato. browse the shops and stay a while.

Like everywhere on the mediterranean a boat day is a must - I would recommend taking a boat out on the northern side of the island.
